Workshop Transforming Dragons
Dragons symbolize the most common Fear Patterns present in Human Behaviour.
It's a subject that has been studied for decades in philosophy, psychology and psychotherapy (by authors such as Gurdjieff and Peter Ouspensky) and developed to understand and change the negative patterns present in an individual's personality. And from all the research carried out, the 7 most common fear patterns have been identified: Arrogance; Self-deprecation; Greed; Self-destruction; Impatience; Martyrdom and Stubbornness.
As individuals, we cannot transform ourselves unless we face our own fears. Facing fears means facing our darkest, shadowy, occult side, which is part of us. We need to know and recognize our “shadow”, not in order to blame or punish ourselves, but in order to release all the potential of vitality that is contained there. There is a great potential lying dormant, trapped in our shadow, because it is not “touched”, because the shadow is something that is usually “swept under the carpet” and we don't want to touch it, we pretend it doesn't exist.
In this approach, we're going to look at these fear patterns by calling them Dragons...
Another important concept to remember is that we are not the dragons, these fear patterns are like parasites or viruses, which co-habit with us but do not define us. Dragons are always trying to take over our personal power.
We are Spirit, we are beings of Light, magical and wonderful. Our task is to transform these dragons so that we can be who we truly are, to the fullest extent, and express our true essence. Although they seek to dominate us, we are responsible for our freedom.

NOTE: It's our irrational fear that feeds them and makes them grow to the point where they take over our mind and energy. To do this work, we have to be completely honest with ourselves, so that we can identify and recognize the dragons, what their weak points are and techniques to neutralize them.
